The results here represent hybridization data from the human cell cycle experiments.
Unless otherwise specified, all data show the Average Difference Levels for each gene on the array as calculated by the Affymetrix Gene Chip software package.

  1. The file hu6800_rawdata_wt_bothcellcycles contains data for the independent experiments N2 and N3, in which samples were taken from a synchronized population of human fibroblasts every two hours for 24 hours. The numeral after the experiment designation indicates the number of hours after arrest that the sample was taken. Processed samples were hybridized to the Affymetrix 6800 human gene arrays

  2. The file 35k_wt_rawData contains data for the hybridization of experiment N2 to the Affymetrix 35,000 human gene and EST arrays.

  3. The file hu6800_normData_wt_avgCellCycles contains data averaged between the independent experiments, for the 6800 human gene arrays. In addition, the expression levels for each gene have been normalized across that gene such that the mean expression level for each gene equals 0 with a unit standard deviation. This file was used for all clustering.

  4. The file [MMS_data] contains hybridization data for the MMS and [UV_data] UV-based DNA damage experiments described in the article.
