- All "S" strains are isogenic with S288c and all "YAG" and "YHS" strains listed are isogenic with YJM145. With the exception of the XHS strains and unless designated otherwise, all diploid strains are homozygous (except for MATa/MATa) throughout their genomes because, in the case of "S" strains, they were diploidized with a CEN-HO plasmid or because they are self-diploidized HO strains (6).

*Unless designated otherwise, all XHS strains have heteroallelic hybrid backgrounds.
